Have you heard of this adorable little activity to spread Halloween cheer within your neighborhood? I had seen this concept pop up on a couple of blogs I followed for the countdown last year and completely feel in love with the idea. When I stumbled across a free printable template on Joann’s, I couldn’t resist, especially having moved into a new neighborhood just a few days before October began. This seemed like the perfect opportunity for establishing Halloween excitement in a new place.

I did go a little overboard on the treats I put inside the bag. The instructions say just two treats, but I did more like five (I spent too much time in the Target dollar spot one day…). I also made my own template because I’ve been on a kick with my little spiders and couldn’t resist spreading them throughout our neighborhood.
